The book is bi-lingual, with the entire text in both the Deutsche and English languages. Published by the German Bromeliad Society in 2009. The author is a recognised authority on tillandsias, and is totally familiar with their native habitats. She has published many new species of tillandsia.
There are 12 species comprising 15 varieties included in the group of green-flowered small tillandsias from Mexico, and some natural hybrids. Each species is described, illustrated, and has notes on its distribution and habitats, plus distribution maps.
A botanical key to aid in identifying all the species and varieties in the complex is included in the book. The book has 146 pages, 111 colored photos and a nuimber of maps and drawings. Highly recommended for tillandsia students!
